The Cider Farm is an organic orchard in Mineral Point, Wisconsin that grows the wine grapes of apples--apples for making alcoholic beverages, not for eating.  The Cider Farm has operated a tasting room in Madison for approximately 6 years and has closed it to expand to a full restaurant to be called Orchard in Verona, Wisconsin.  The Cider Farm grows only true cider apples, not eating apples and has the largest collection of such apples in America.  Its ciders have been internationally awarded and are distributed in Wisconsin and Illinois.  Orchard is a new restaurant concept from The Cider Farm that will provide a larger platform for Cider Farm products and a significant expansion into hospitality.

Schedule is determined monthluy and is flexible based on server's avaiability.

Job Overview:
We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic Servers to join our team. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service while educating guests about our sustainable, farm-to-table philosophy, seasonal menu, and locally-sourced ingredients and international award winning products. Your role will include taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring each guest has a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting local and sustainable options
• Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Educate guests about our farm-to-table concept and the story behind our ingredients and beverages
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
• Provide attentive, personalized service to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Previous serving experience preferred, but not required
• Passion for local, sustainable food and beverages
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences

Pay will be both an hourly wage and tips.  The restaurant should provide a strong tip environment due to its location near the Epic campus, the Verona High School and the rapidly expanding community of Verona.

Qualifications:

• Previous serving experience preferred, but not required
• Passion for local, sustainable food and beverages
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences

• Ability to lift approximately 25 pounds
