Department Overview:
The Epistemic Analytics lab in the Wisconsin Center for Education Research creates novel computational techniques and statistical tools that enable researchers to construct quantitative models of rich qualitative data in education, healthcare, policy, and other contexts. Project: Center for Research on Complex Thinking in Epistemic Analytics Lab

Qualifications:
Current UW–Madison undergraduate student
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
• Attention to detail • Driven to take initiative • Ability to quickly learn new skills • Ability to organize and manage simultaneous tasks • Ability to complete projects within deadlines • Exceptional analytical and communication skills • Communications and outreach experience • Experience with Microsoft Suite and Google Drive preferred • Programming experience (e.g., R, python) preferred, not required • Qualitative coding or research method experience preferred, not required
Position Summary/Job Duties:
• Work with researchers to prepare, analyze, and present large amounts of qualitative and • quantitative data • Manipulate text data in Excel and R, or Python • Assist with coordination between internal project team and external partners • Assist with the writing of communications and outreach materials • May assist in the running of webinars and training workshops
