Schedule:

Part-Time, 15 to 20 hours per week. Flexible schedule, but must have availability during typical office hours 8am and 5pm Monday thru Friday, along with occasional evenings and weekends due to events.

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $14.00 to $14.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Primary responsibilities for our Marketing Design Intern include but are not limited to:

  • Helps with designing and creating promotional materials including instore signage, displays and advertisements.
  • Supports in the production and editing of videos and photos.
  • Create and occasionally publish engaging content across all social media platforms as directed.
  • Stay updated on the latest design and social medial trends.
  • Promotes University Book Store at events as needed. 
  • Work with the Marketing Supervisor on various projects.
  • Performs all additional duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • As needed will attend events as a University Book Store representative.
  • Acts as the store mascot “Booky” as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Background using InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of Illustrator is a plus.
  • Familiar with major social media platforms.
  • Photography experience a plus.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
