Schedule:
A Cashier works at least 12 hours a week with a biweekly, rotating weekend schedule. A schedule should include at least 1 weekend shift and 1 closing shift.
Scheduling is flexible and based on academic availability and operational need.
Summer hours available based on operational need.
Salary/Wage Range:
Hourly $15.00 to $15.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:
A Dining & Culinary Services Cashier is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions and providing high quality customer service to customers and guests. Cashiers greet customers and answer questions in order to create a warm and welcoming environment. During the summer months, Team Members assist with dining operations for Conference Service guests.
Operate a cash register/POS system to process customer transactions quickly and accurately.
Provide consistent, timely, and friendly customer service when answering questions.
Provide product knowledge and information about menu items as needed
Assist customers with problems or concerns as they arise
Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
Stock display case and rotate merchandise as needed.
Clean and sanitize work area regularly.
Maintain calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
Be a part of a welcoming, respectful food service experience.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
