About Our Family: As a solo parent, I am looking for someone who can watch my child while I attend to my studies or volunteer at church. Major chores, laundry, and housecleaning are not required. I need someone reliable and nurturing who can provide a safe and engaging environment for my child.
About the Child:
3.5 years old, very independent, and potty trained
Sweet, smart and curious, asks lots of questions
Loves helping out and can be delegated small tasks
Enjoys cooking or baking together occasionally
Enjoys outdoor activities with neighhood friends
Enjoys storytime and has a keen interest in books
Screen time limited to Friday Watch Days or during sick days

Current need:
Monday 6 PM-9 PM
One Sunday a month 4 PM- 6PM Church Service
2-3 hours Thursdays evening or Saturdays
A gas stipend will be provided.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with our 3.5-year-old during designated hours
Perform pick-ups as needed (rarely)
Prepare and warm up meals, and feed the child
Clean areas used, including the kitchen, toys, and child’s room
Manage the nighttime routine on Mondays (feeding, showering, dressing, reading a book, and putting the child to bed)
Be a positive role model and teach new skills and provide thoughtful answers to the child’s questions
Ensure the child is safe while playing with neighborhood friends
Delegate small tasks to the child and engage in activities together, such as cooking or baking
Qualifications:
Current student at UW-Madison
Previous childcare experience
Clean background check
Reliable transportation to and from Windsor, WI
Ability to work with children from diverse backgrounds
Ability to occasionally handle pick-ups
Comfortable with meal preparation and light cleaning
Ability to start immediately
Ability to provide first aid and handle emergencies calmly
