Position Summary/Job Duties:

Adult individuals with normal hearing are needed to participate in listening experiments for research studies. The task includes a hearing screening, listening to sounds at a comfortable level, and selecting a computer response button after each sound is heard. A camera will track your eye gaze during the experiment.

Participants must be 18 to 25 years of age, have normal hearing, have the ability to pay attention during fairly repetitive tasks, and be able to provide their social security number in order to receive compensation for participation.

Compensation rate is $12/hour. The time commitment for this study is 2-2.5 hours, and the research will be conducted at the UW Waisman Center.

Qualifications:

Ages 18-25
No history of hearing loss and no recent ear infections
English is first language
