Flexible scheduling based on your academic availability and operational need.
10 hours per week preferred, more hours may be available.
Shifts available between 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, some weekend hours as operationally needed.
Shifts are a minimum of 2 hours.

20-40 hours per week, positions based on availability & operational need, flexible scheduling options may be available, schedule will be set upon hire.
Shifts available 7:30AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday, some overtime may be available on evenings and weekends.
Seasonal: This position is considered seasonal during the summer months and is exempt from the 30 hour per week average rule in regard to the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Hours worked may exceed 30 hours/week during the summer months.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Under the supervision of the Facility Interior Designer, this position assists the interior design and operations teams in acting as a junior designer on small projects, assisting with project management, administrative support, and communication/coordination on projects between internal staff and outside vendor partners. Coordinate deliveries and moving services, scheduling removal of draperies and furniture, communicating and coordinating the delivery of furniture. Assist in the preventative maintenance of existing furniture, drapery rods and miscellaneous office furniture.
Assist the Interior Design team with coordinating installations and moving services of small to large remodeling projects, including furniture, carpet, and blind replacement with various outside vendor partners.
Assist in designing and providing project management on small interior design projects (ex: 1 - 2 rooms in size) including meeting with staff to determine needs, researching products/solutions, estimating budgets, selecting finishes, working with vendors, and coordinating installation of project.
Assist with administrative tasks such as, completing work orders, logging expenditures, and organizing information.
Assist in inventorying and reallocating furniture.
File paperwork and organize the interior design resource library.
Assist in developing and editing building floor plans.
Other duties as assigned.
Summer specific duties include:
Oversee contractor work and project implementation in unoccupied spaces, including furniture replacing, carpet replacing, and interior updates
Assist with the planning and installation of conference group office setups, storage cabinets, and converting resident rooms to offices
Qualifications:
Satisfactory results of a confidential criminal background check are required.
A valid unrestricted driver's license, which meets UW Risk Management standards is preferred.
Ability to lift objects weighing approximately 50 pounds.
Working knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
