Schedule:
Academic Year: at least 12 hours per week.
Summer: minimum of 20 hours per week, students can work up to 30-40 hours per week.
Scheduled hours between 6:30 am-10:00 pm Sunday through Saturday.
Salary/Wage Range:
Hourly $15.00 to $15.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:
A Culinary Assistant is responsible for preparing food, serving food to customers, working with a variety of culinary equipment such as grills, deep fryers, and ovens, stocking product as needed, operating a cash register, and maintaining dining room sanitation and appearance. We are looking for individuals who love working on a team, have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Assist with all phases of food preparation for salads, sandwiches, beverages, entrees, soups, and specialty items.
Maintain sanitation standards and portion control per supervisor instructions.
Set up serving stations that include utensils, food, dishes, supplies, and condiments.
Maintain beverage station dispensers and refill as necessary.
Replenish condiments and serving utensils.
Complete required reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Possibility of pushing and pulling carts weighing approximately 200 lbs.
