Position Summary/Job Duties:
We are looking for a respite provider for our 21-year-old daughter who has a diagnosis of autism. Experience with individuals with special needs is preferred but not required.
She loves being out in the community and participating in different events around Madison. She also enjoys travelling to new cities around Wisconsin. This job would involve hanging out with our daughter and taking her out in the community to do the activities she loves which usually means going to different libraries and checking out their events. She enjoys planning her days, so someone who can be flexible and "go with the flow" would do well in this role.
A driver's license is required for this job as our daughter will need to be driven to different community events. Times and days are very flexible to meet your scheduling needs. Although Saturdays and Sundays from 2-6 pm are preferred. We live on the west side of Madison and have access to the Madison Metro bus line.
