Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are a family in Middleton looking for a part-time summer nanny for our two active kids (girl age 11 and boy age 9) Wed-Fridays this summer.

We’re still working out our summer calendar but days will include taking the kids to and from their activities in Middleton including swim team/ tennis lessons/ golf and hockey lessons, and helping the kids with lunch and snack prep.  Swim team is daily at High Point pool with pool membership to go whenever with the kids.  Both kids love to play outside, have fun at the pool or on their bikes, explore Pheasant Branch Conservancy, read, draw, and play with neighborhood friends.  We also have a friendly dog (3yo boxer mix) that loves to lay around.

We would be looking for someone to start June 25 through August 15. August 27-29 would also be available if interested but we understand the need to return to school. Also, if our vacation weeks do not align or you need a random day off we can be flexible. Since this position would require driving, any applicants would need a valid/current drivers license, a reliable and safe vehicle, and a clean driving record.

If this sounds like it would be a good fit, we would love to hear from you!

Qualifications:

Active, outgoing, and eager to spend time with some fun-loving kids.  College student or recent college grad preferred, but responsible high school senior may be considered.  Must be comfortable around a pool.  Valid/current drivers license, a reliable and safe vehicle, and a clean driving record is required.  Nanny/Babysitting experience preferred, CPR certification preferred.

Physical Demands

Ability to play sports, hike, bike and generally engage with the kids. A plus if you enjoy swimming, and/or golf (kids have free passes to play par 3 course with you at PleasantView GC). Some light meal prep for lunches.

Application Instructions:

Email Dan directly at djfelkner@wisc.edu. Please describe your experience working with kids.  Please include references.
