Position Summary/Job Duties:
Students in this role will assist with designing and executing assessment methods to gather information about resident experiences in University Housing. Students will design, analyze, and present on survey data and focus group data, as well as assisting staff in University Housing to review and evaluate programs and services. Students in this role will contribute to reports recommending changes to University Housing policies and practices.
Assist in data analysis and interpretation of data findings.
Create written and verbal summaries of assessment data.
Collaborate with peers and supervisor on assessment projects and presentations.
Participate in weekly Student Assessment Analyst meetings and training sessions.
Design and collect data from surveys and focus groups
Comply with data integrity and security policies.
Other duties and responsibilities for related projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Preference given to students who have lived in an undergraduate residence hall for at least one semester.
Transfer students: students must be currently enrolled at UW-Madison at time of application to be considered eligible to apply for the position.
During pre-employment and employment, a student staff member must abide by the Student Housing Handbook, and the University of Wisconsin System academic and non-academic policies and expectations.
