The most convenient start times for us are:

  • Sunday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Monday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Tuesday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Wednesday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Friday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

I am especially hoping to find someone to work on Monday or Tuesday morning blocks. Friday also works well.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

UW Madison Professor and her spouse are seeking help with home routine and organizing tasks (mostly laundry, cleaning, taking care of our cat, kitchen tasks, occasional organizing) and seasonal outdoor cleanup (collecting leaves and tree branches, sweeping the porch/driveway, etc.) for the upcoming academic year. 

The commitment for this position of a home helper is one 3-hour visit per week at $96 per 3 hours (before taxes; about $88 after taxes). We are in Middleton on the bus line but travel is easier if you have a car. If you see the ad, you can still apply.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who:

(a) can follow instructions on the to-do list well,

(b) is reliable (needs to cancel or reschedule rarely such as once every 2 months or less frequently), responsible, and friendly,

(c) has an interest or past experience in similar positions (this is not required to get the position).

Physical Demands

 Mobility and physical strength to handle objects required for home and pet care.
