We're two families who live across the street from one another. It's worked great to share an afterschool babysitter.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Are you ready for a fun part-time job? We’re on the hunt for an energetic babysitter/nanny to join our fun-loving trio of girls from Thoreau Elementary School! Our little crew, ages 6, 6, and 9, enjoys outdoor play at the school playground on sunny days and gets creative with art activities at our home (just a few blocks away) when the weather isn't cooperating. They love snacks, giggles, and are known for their cheerful and responsible nature.
Located conveniently on 3870 Nakoma Rd, the school is just a breezy bus or bike ride from the UW Campus. If you’re up for an extra splash of fun, driving the kiddos to a nearby library in a provided car on Mondays is a delightful option (but not a must).

Hours: Mon: 2-5:00 pm / Tues – Fri: 3:20-5:20 pm
Dates: now through May 8, 2025
There may also be opportunities to babysit for our families in the future.
Qualifications:
Enjoys working with children ages 6 to 9
Energetic and fun-loving
Responsible and reliable
Willing to engage in outdoor play and creative activities
Comfortable with light household tasks like helping the girls tidy up at the end of the day
Proximity to 3870 Nakoma Rd or access to transportation
Optional: Ability to drive children to nearby library on Mondays
Physical Demands
Ability to keep up with our children
