Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for a motivated student, ideally studying child development or elementary education but open to all motivated applicants, to practice reading and read with our son a few hours each week.  We are looking for a kind and patient student who enjoys working with and teaching children.  We will provide all the materials.  This is a great opportunity for an education student to get experience with phonics instruction and the science of reading.  

We are flexibile with days and times.  Could do afterschool, evenings, weekends, or a mix.

We live on the west end of campus very close to Trader Joe's.  We are close to bus lines and easily accessible by bike or walking.  

Qualifications:

Motivated student who loves working with children and would like to help a child learn to read.
