We are very flexible on hours and times/day. This position is to primarily give mom a break during the week to get other things done (work, errands, etc.). Ideally, we would like to set up a minimum of three 4-hour blocks during the week that you could help and one 4-hour block one evening every other week (6p-10p) -- and also be able to have you "on call" as needed (if you are available). Once we connect we can figure out a schedule that would work which would become your guaranteed hours that we will pay you for even if we have to cancel because we are out of town.

We travel a lot back and forth to Colorado, but when we are gone we will still pay you for your guaranteed minimum weekly hours. We would also love to invite you to join us on certain trips throughout the year to help while we are traveling. This is not mandatory but very much preferred. Ideally you have a passport in case of any international travel -- or are willing to apply for one (we will help with cost). 

We are looking for part-time help for our 8-month-old son who is just a joy! He is sitting, crawling, almost walking (eek!) and is a very content and happy boy who just loves life. We are located in the Bishops Bay neighborhood in Middleton, near the main clubhouse — exact address can be provided once we connect! We are not on any bus line so either you will need your own transportation or if we think we’re a great fit we could talk about options like providing an Uber account to get back and forth (in other words, don’t let a lack of a car stop you from contacting us!). At this time, we do not expect you will need to drive anywhere with the baby. He loves going out on walks around the neighborhood, reading books, and playing with his toys (both independently and with someone else).

Responsibilities include: Caring for our 8-month-old son, engaging in development and age-appropriate playtime with him during his wake windows, feeding (bottles and he is starting solids which we can go over), changing him, keeping play areas organized (as well as can be :)), light baby laundry, cleaning up his room.

- Ideal person is caring, patient, reliable, punctual and communicative

- Must love kids and have experience caring for infants under 1 yr. Early childhood education background or nursing background is a plus but not required (and/or interest in or enrollment in nursing or other medical field related to infant/child care is a plus! - not required)

- CPR/first aid certified for infants & toddlers

- Up-to-date on vaccines

- Would like at least 2 references from previous families/jobs

- We also have a very friendly 9 year old Olde English Bulldogge, so must be comfortable around a 50 lb dog (he mainly sleeps and keeps to himself but will always get up to greet you!)
