Position Summary/Job Duties:

Elowelle is a water health company focused on improving the safety, transparency, and biological stability of residential well water. We work at the intersection of environmental health, microbiology, data interpretation, and consumer education—helping families understand what’s in their water and what to do about it.

Marketing plays a central role in this mission. This internship offers hands-on experience translating complex scientific and environmental data into clear, trustworthy, and engaging communication for homeowners and communities. Interns will collaborate directly with the founder on messaging, educational content, brand storytelling, and early-stage growth strategy.

This role is ideal for students interested in marketing, communications, journalism, public health, sustainability, or entrepreneurship who want meaningful, real-world experience beyond basic social media tasks.

 

Depending on interests and background, responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting water testing workflows, data organization, and research synthesis
  • Assisting with interpretation and presentation of environmental and microbiological data
  • Translating technical information into clear, consumer-friendly language
  • Contributing to educational materials, reports, website content, or social/email communication
  • Supporting brand messaging, content planning, and launch preparation
  • Participating in early-stage strategy discussions and process development

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student
  • Interest in marketing, communications, environmental health, public health, or sustainability
  • Strong written communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to understand and explain complex topics clearly
  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
  • Familiarity with content platforms, social media, or design tools is a plus
  • Curious, thoughtful, and detail-oriented
