Department Overview:

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Responsible for warehouse inventory receiving, stocking shelves and picking orders
Maintain cleanliness and security in the warehouse area
Assist in the delivery of carts, product, supplies and mail across Union and academic buildings
Miscellaneous jobs as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Qualifications
MUST have a valid driver's license and have 2 years of driving history without accidents
Punctuality and time management, excellent customer service, teamwork skills, and familiarity with UW Campus layout and traffic patterns a bonus
Stand, walk, twist and lift, on concrete floors, for three hours at a time
Capable of lifting 50 lbs. to shoulder height
Ability to climb ladders, push or pull wheeled-carts weighing 600 to 1200 lbs., and loading and unloading of trucks in all weather conditions
Must be in active student status
Use email, text, phone, and two- way- radio to receive delivery instructions
Student Status
To be eligible for the Wisconsin Union positions, you must be currently enrolled in a college, university, or highschool (at least 16). It is not permissible to hire a person as a student hourly employee if they are taking credits merely to be eligible for student hourly employment. Review UW Policy 5003- Student Hourly Employment for more information. If school is in break period (summer, spring, winter), applicants must intend to enroll in courses the following semester.
