Position Summary/Job Duties:
As a Landscape Construction Laborer at Barnes, Inc., you will play a crucial role in bringing our landscaping projects to life. You'll work alongside a team of experienced professionals to create beautiful hardscapes that enhance outdoor living spaces. If you have a strong work ethic, a love for the outdoors, and a desire to grow with a company that values your contributions, this position is perfect for you.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor kitchens.
Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other softscape elements according to design plans.
Soil preparation, mulching, and irrigation system installation.
Pruning, trimming, and maintaining plants to ensure their health and aesthetics.
Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools.
Follow safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site.
Provide excellent customer service and represent our company in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
Ability to work productively with a crew and maintain positive customer interactions.
Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and landscape construction equipment as trained and authorized.
Ability to work overtime as business needs require.
Physical Demands
Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, twist, climb, reach, push, pull, and work on uneven terrain throughout the workday. Ability to regularly lift 50# or more w/ assistance
