Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for an enthuisiastic and joyful semi-regular baby sitter for our two little ones on Tuesday nights and occasional Friday afternoons for the summer. Felix is a lego loving 6 year old. He is super interested in animals and bugs and wants to be a scientist when he grows up and loves playing outside.  Martha (Marty) is an engergetic 4. She loves to play in her pretend kitchen and take care of her stuffies playing veternarian. We also have a very low key and lovable dog in our home, and 3 baby goats in our back year.

Mom is the library and commons director in Morgridge Hall, and regularly works evenings to accomodate the work of the student Commons. Mom and Dad are also hoping to attend a regular yoga class on Tuesdays in the summer and have occasional date nights (1-2 Fridays) a month. We are looking for someone who is excited to spend the evening with playtime and feeding them an easy dinner. Mom and Dad are usually home before 8:00pm for bed time, but also take occasional later nights out for date nights. Bedtime is a very low key affair at our house with both kids going down easily with routines. Tuesdays would be regular, but Fridays would easily be planned around your schedule.

We have had the same sitter for 2 years, but she has graduated, and we are looking for a new adult role model for our kiddos. Our current sitter would be able to supply a reference for our family.

A valid driver's license is required in case pick up or drop off if needed, but since mom is on campus her car would be available with carseats for our sitter to use for pickups from campus. We currently pay $16-$17 dollars an hour depending on experience. Please include relevant experience in your interest application. We would love to call your references.

Qualifications:

Experience with young children.

Valid Driver's license

Reference from at least 1 pervious family or childcare employment
