As a Dolphin Swim instructor you will use our curriculum to provide a fun safe lesson to excited swimmers. You will work to build water confidence within your students and encourage each student to rise to the best of their abilities.

We have a fun and rewarding work environment with a great atmosphere for someone who loves teaching and being around water. Starting wage is negotiable with prior experience. This is a part-time position that requires afternoon/evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce safety rules within classes.
• Have compassion and care for the swimmers.
• Be a team player who is who is consistently dependable and reliable.
• Complete required training and be a continual learner.
• Follow our curriculum with a focus on the needs, abilities and comfort of each student.
• Smile and have fun during your entire shift!

Qualifications:

• Caring and compassion for children and adults.
• Ability to work in the water for periods of up to 5 hours.
• Strong communication skills.
• Great attitude and willingness to be coached.
• The ability to focus in a fast-paced environment.

Hours can very depending on schedule. Our operational hours are as follows:

• Sunday 1pm to 5:30pm
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 3:30pm to 7:30pm
• Monday and Tuesday mornings 9:00am to 11:30am
• Saturday 8:30am to 11:30am

You do not need to have previous swim instruction experience in order to apply. We will train and coach you with the knowledge you will need to help encourage your swimmers to achieve their own success.
