Position Summary/Job Duties:
The Service Operations team within UW-Shared Services exists to standardize processes, consolidate operations, and streamline administrative practices in order to provide high quality services while improving administrative efficiency and effectiveness. In addition to providing high quality services, Service Operations brings value to UW institutions by reducing administrative burden and cost, thereby allowing them to invest time and resources into activities which are more central to their mission.
Employee Development and Learning Management Team: This team focuses on all aspects of an employees learning from development, course management, documentation, reporting and troubleshooting issues.
THIS RECRUITMENT IS LOOKING TO FILL two (2) STUDENT POSITIONs ON THE UWSS Employee Development and Learning Management TEAM.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Update data in transactional databases
Provide support for application materials and other forms/source documents
Develop visually engaging graphics and training templates
Test training courses
Complete final steps in training course development including audio and ADA compliance
Create and maintain process documentsOther business office duties as needed
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Customer service background
Skilled in typing, data entry
Attention to detail
Ability to plan and organize work
Ability to apply judgment and analysis to work performed
Dependable and reliable
Good communication skills
Ability to work within a team and independently
Experience creating visually appealing graphics for purposes such as training and communication, preferred
