From the folks behind Bloom Bake Shop and Restaurant Lallande comes Waltzing Matilda’s, a new neighborhood spot shaped by a love of food, travel, and gathering around the table.
HOURS OF OPERATION :: Tuesday through Sunday, 8am to 3pm.
Matilda’s comes alive in the mornings and rolls right through lunch. Coffee pouring, breakfast hitting the tables, a busy dining room, and plenty of good energy. We’re looking for people who love the rhythm of a bustling neighborhood restaurant and want to be part of building something new from the very beginning.
In December, Matilda’s will expand into the evenings as a neighborhood wine bar, with cocktails, beer, wine, and small plates.
Must be able to commit to a minimum 16 hours/week.

We’re looking for servers and bartenders who love great food and drink, but even more importantly, genuinely enjoy taking care of people.
You’ll help create an experience that feels warm, knowledgeable, relaxed, and personal. Our opening service will focus on breakfast and lunch, with opportunities to grow into our evening wine bar when it launches in December.
Your role may include:
- Welcoming and caring for guests throughout their experience
- Learning our food and beverage menus
- Guiding guests through the menu and making thoughtful recommendations
- Providing warm, attentive, and intuitive service
- Preparing and serving beverages
- Keeping the dining room and bar organized and ready for service
- Working closely with the kitchen and the rest of the hospitality team
- Helping create the kind of place where people want to become regulars
Restaurant experience is wonderful, but we’re equally interested in people who are warm, curious, observant, dependable, and eager to learn. Wine, cocktail, and beverage knowledge is a plus for those interested in growing into our evening program.
Pay: $17 to $25/hour, based on experience.
