From the folks behind Bloom Bake Shop and Restaurant Lallande comes Waltzing Matilda’s, a new neighborhood spot shaped by a love of food, travel, and gathering around the table.
HOURS OF OPERATION :: Tuesday through Sunday, 8am to 3pm.
Matilda’s comes alive in the mornings and rolls right through lunch. Coffee pouring, breakfast hitting the tables, a busy dining room, and plenty of good energy. We’re looking for people who love the rhythm of a bustling neighborhood restaurant and want to be part of building something new from the very beginning.
In December, Matilda’s will expand into the evenings as a neighborhood wine bar, with cocktails, beer, wine, and small plates.
Must be able to work at least 16 hours/week.
Come Work With Us
We’re looking for hosts, runners, and expo team members to help keep our dining room warm, welcoming, and running beautifully.
These roles are at the heart of great service. You might be the first person to welcome a guest, the connection between our kitchen and dining room, or the person making sure every plate leaves the kitchen exactly as it should.
Depending on your role, you may help with:
- Greeting and seating guests
- Managing reservations and waitlists
- Running food quickly and accurately
- Learning our menu and dishes
- Coordinating food coming from the kitchen
- Supporting servers and resetting tables
- Communicating clearly between the kitchen and dining room
- Keeping service areas clean and organized
- Noticing what needs to happen next and jumping in
Experience is wonderful, but we’re looking first for people who are warm, quick, observant, dependable, and understand that great hospitality is a team effort.
Pay: $17 to $25/hour, based on experience.
