Position Summary/Job Duties:

Capitoland Children’s Center is looking for a creative, energetic, and dependable Kids’ Club Programming Coordinator to help make after-school and no-school days fun, engaging, and meaningful for elementary-age children. This position will work directly with children while taking the lead in planning and coordinating activities, themes, and experiences—including crafts, STEM, science, cooking, games, sports, outdoor activities, special events, and Christian/Bible-based programming.

The ideal candidate enjoys coming up with new ideas, working with kids, and taking initiative. We provide the resources, supplies, and support—you bring the creativity! There is plenty of autonomy in this role, along with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and grow into future leadership positions.

This position is ideal for a college student looking for meaningful experience working with children in a fun, Christ-centered environment. Experience working with children is preferred, and candidates should be comfortable talking with kids about Jesus and incorporating Christian values into activities and everyday interactions.
