Position Summary/Job Duties:

We're looking for a fun, creative, and enthusiastic college student with an interest in science and/or engineering to host an exciting, hands-on science party for our daughter's 7th birthday!

The ideal candidate will put together approximately 1–3 hours of engaging, kid-friendly activities inspired by the likes of Mark Rober, fascinating animals, and cool science experiments. You'll demonstrate a few exciting experiments, guide the kids through hands-on activities, and help spark their curiosity through interactive learning and fun!

The Details:

  • Date: Sunday, November 29th

  • Time: Flexible, anytime between 10 AM–5 PM

  • Duration: Approximately 1–3 hours

  • Location: Private residence

  • Supplies: We'll provide the necessary materials for all experiments!

Who We're Looking For:

  • A college student who loves science, engineering, STEM, or all things hands-on and creative.

  • Someone energetic, personable, and comfortable interacting with children.

  • A creative thinker who can make science exciting, approachable, and fun!

  • Teaching, tutoring, camp counseling, or experience working with kids is a plus, but not required.

We'll want to meet beforehand for a casual interview to get to know you, discuss ideas, and make sure it's a great fit.

This is a fun opportunity to share what you love, get creative, and be the reason a group of curious 7-year-olds thinks science is the coolest thing ever!
