Department Overview:
Mills Music Library, located in the basement of Memorial Library, is the primary resource for music materials and information on the UW–Madison campus and in the state. Mills primarily serves the UW–Madison campus community, but it is also open to the general public.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Student Assistants perform a wide range of onsite services, including circulation, shelving, labeling materials, and sewing scores and parts into binders. Other duties: special projects, such as preservation processing, data entry, exhibits or donation item counts; managing service desk in the absence of a supervisor, such as on nights or weekends.
Physical Demands:
Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and climbing on step stool or ladder to reach highest shelves, but neither activity is required and accommodations are available.
