Department Overview:
The Center for Dairy Research (CDR) is known as one of the world’s premier dairy food research centers. Its staff operates a licensed dairy plant on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus to build on Wisconsin's tradition as the "Dairy State." Working with CDR researchers is a valuable opportunity for students in Food Science, Dairy Science, or related fields. Student workers will gain experience and make contacts that will assist them when applying and interviewing for internships and employment post-graduation.

Qualifications:
No previous experience is required, but Food Science, Dairy Science, or related coursework is a plus/Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
-Ability to organize, prioritize work, and be a self starter that deals with multiple tasks to support multiple projects simultaneously and handle deadlines. -Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Filemaker Pro -Effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal interactions. -Knowledge of filing systems and file management practices.
