Qualifications:
Finished or will finish UW Biosafety Required Training and Chemical Safety Training prior to starting work.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Agricultural experiences and microscope experiences are preferred but not required. The candidate needs to be well organized to manage thousands of samples.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Taking care of corn plant growing, preparing fertilizer mixture and bacterial inoculants, examining mycorrhizal formation under microscopes, and performing IRMS sample preparation, as well as helping the lab manager keep the lab clean and organized.
Physical Demands:
Eligible to lift and move boxes and bags up to 25 lbs.
