NeuroPride is a student organization at UW Madison dedicated to supporting neurodivergent individuals through community building, activism, and education. The organization aims to foster acceptance, accessibility, and understanding for all neurodivergent individuals on campus.

Schedule:

1 weekly staff Meeting (1-2 hours), Weekly Office Hours (4+ hours), Attendance to Events, and all positions are expected to complete their expectations in a timely fashion. Position offers some flexibility.

Qualifications:

- Experience in digital marketing and social media management.
- Strong graphic design and content creation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for community outreach and engagement
- Will be an enrolled student at UW-Madison for the 2025-2026 academic year

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Lived experience as a neurodivergent individual or a strong understanding of neurodivergence.
- Enthusiasm pertaining to neurodiversity, disability, advocacy etc.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

- Create and execute marketing campaigns for all programs, including Disability Pride Week, Advocacy Events, and Peer to Peer Counseling.
- Manage social media accounts, email newsletters, and the organization’s website.
- Draft and distribute a bi-monthly newsletter to keep members informed about upcoming events, programs, and advocacy efforts.
- Design and distribute promotional materials for events and resources like the Access Tools Fund.
- Engage with campus and community organizations to build collaborative opportunities.
- Track outreach metrics and adjust strategies for improved engagement.
- Hold regular office hours every week.
- Facilitate Peer to Peer Counseling sessions, creating safe spaces for neurodivergent students.
