Department Overview:
Stellar Tech Girls is a small, local company dedicated to increasing diversity in STEM by inspiring and empowering girls and non-binary kids ages 9 to 14. During the summer, we run half-day one-week camps with different scientific themes, so kids can come back throughout the summer to explore new topics. Our campers love meeting other girls who are passionate about science, learning from female role models in STEM, building hands-on projects, watching science experiments explode, and crafting with our colorful art supplies. We provide a fun, welcoming environment that encourages girls to build confidence and learn how to take on challenges by problem solving like an engineer. Our camps are run by our Founder & Program Director, a Lead Summer Science Educator, and a team of Camp Counselors. We are a close-knit team of women and non-binary folks who love inspiring middle school girls and know that confidence in STEM can set them up to be their best selves and change the world for the better.
