Department Overview:
IvyRead is an educational startup focused on promoting English proficiency among English as a Second Language learners through the use of authentic leveled reading materials, blended with STEM and environmental education. Our mission is to support ESL learners by offering engaging, research-backed resources to parents and students. The company was founded by Mr. Mi Yan, a Cornell alum and a former faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Qualifications:
Qualifications: Fluent in English (Native or Near-Native proficiency preferred). Comfortable speaking on camera with a clear and engaging communication style. Passionate about education, especially ESL learning for young children. Experience working in a U.S. preschool or elementary school is a strong plus. Familiarity with U.S. kindergarten and elementary school teaching resources is highly desirable. Knowledge of short-form video platforms (e.g., TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels) and their content guidelines. Ability to independently evaluate and select video topics based on trends and audience engagement. Strong scriptwriting skills and the ability to produce engaging educational content. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Experience with video recording and editing is a plus but not required.

Collaborate with the team to refine scripts and key messages. Ensure high-quality audio and video production (basic video editing skills are a plus).
