Department Overview:

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is committed to basic and clinical research that furthers the understanding and development of new treatments for patients with mental illness. Qualifications:

-Experience with software and computer platforms including but not limited to Microsoft and Adobe.  
-Experience with creating, working with, and reading spreadsheets.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

The Department of Psychiatry in the School of Medicine and Public Health is looking for 1 part-time Student Administrative Support Specialist. This is an immediate opening, continuing through the academic year into the summer, and potentially continuing into future academic years. The individual in this role would function as a part of a larger staff team of professionals that support learners, trainees, and faculty within the Department of Psychiatry. Duties include general administrative work, special event assistance, and other duties as assigned. The person in this position is expected to utilize discretion and confidentiality when handling secure and sensitive information.  The duties of the role will be primarily in person with the potential for some time remote.

Physical Demands:

Primarily administrative, but may be asked to assist with room set up/clean up.
