Department Overview:

Qualifications:
Admitted UW-Madison undergraduate student who will be on campus for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Interest in leadership development, student engagement, and campus involvement. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to engage confidently with students in one-on-one and group settings. Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, student leaders, and campus partners. Organizational and time-management skills to balance multiple responsibilities and projects. Comfort facilitating or co-facilitating workshops, meetings, and discussions (or willingness to learn). Problem-solving mindset and ability to respond thoughtfully to student questions during desk hours. Reliability, punctuality, flexibility, and a willingness to take initiative. Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive team environment. Familiarity with social media, marketing, or event promotion is a plus.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Assist with planning and execution of leadership events (case competitions, showcases, org fairs, panels, etc.). Co-facilitate ALC leadership workshops and cohort-based programs. Rotate facilitation and planning roles in weekly LPI team meetings. Staff desk hours in the Leadership & Engagement space by welcoming students, answering questions, and connecting them to resources and opportunities. Provide ALC support via RSO consultations and general student engagement as assigned. Support marketing efforts for leadership events and programs (event promotion, social media, content creation) as assigned.
