Department Overview:
The Division of Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) is a full-spectrum service organization that builds, maintains, and operates the physical environment of the UW-Madison campus in support of the university's education, research, and outreach activities. FP&M works behind the scenes to coordinate campus planning, manage design and construction, maintain and operate buildings and grounds, supply utility services, ensure health and safety, and provide parking and transportation services.

Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of photography principles. - Must have your own digital camera equipment (phone not sufficient).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, judgment, and problem-solving, strong client focus. - Ability to work independently. - Deadline-oriented, quality-oriented and efficient.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Seeking an aspiring media student who is ready to bring their photography skills to the table. In this role you will shoot and edit photos of UW-Madison buildings and employees. If you are ready to plan, frame, and shoot photos at specified locations, then edit and organize images with great attention to detail, this position is for you. Take on this role to practice setting up professional shots, making architectural pictures, and capturing employees at work and events, while expanding your Adobe CC knowledge. We seek a self-starter who can take photo assignments from conception to final, edited product. You will receive a variety of photo assignments, from taking architectural images of campus buildings to feature images of employees to covering events. You will be responsible for taking prescribed shots as well as your own take on the assignment. This position can be semester-long or extend further, depending on mutual preference.
