10-20 hours per week. Extremely flexible, must be able to work 2+ shifts per week, 4-5 hours/shift. Evenings preferred but not required.

Qualifications:
Preferred: -Work Study -Previous Lab, retail, and/or food service work experience -Summer availability
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Strong organization, adaptability, reliability, time management, proactiveness, and independence after the training period. Basic arithmetic, basic scientific knowledge.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
We are a microbiology lab looking for some extra help with common lab chores. This is not a research position. However, we encourage students who are interested in undergraduate research positions and this job may be a good stepping stone to get some experience in a lab setting. Many students who have held this position in the past have found research positions either in our own lab or in others. Some of the duties include - Preparing and autoclaving media Preparing simple chemical solutions Washing and cleaning dishware/lab appliances Restocking lab supplies

Lifting, Standing, Bending, Moving, Carrying 50 lbs
