Department Overview:
About Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M): The Division of Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) is a full- spectrum service organization that builds, maintains, and operates the physical environment of the UW- Madison campus in support of the university's education, research, and outreach activities. The Grounds Department organizes, coordinates and performs activities that support campus landscaping, gardening, and grounds maintenance, including watering, weeding, planting, string trimming, mowing, and mulching.

Applicants should have the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
The Seasonal Student Gardener will assist our full time staff with organizing, coordinating and performing activities that support campus landscaping, gardening, and grounds maintenance, including watering, weeding, planting and mulching.
Physical Demands:
This is a physical job and may require walking, standing, bending, and other tasks related to landscape maintenance.
