Department Overview:
The Department of Biology is focused on innovative teaching and research that spans the range of biological sciences. Located primarily in three buildings on-campus, the department also houses the Wisconsin State Herbarium, Botany Garden and Greenhouse, the UW Zoological Museum and the newly formed Center for Botany.

Schedule:
Variable hours available between the hours of 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday. We will work around your class schedule and exams each semester.

Qualifications:
Ability to work independently or with others Must have good communication skills and attention to detail. Must be reliable and show up to work on time when scheduled. Ability to work for several consecutive hours. Must be an enrolled, degree-seeking college student.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Shows strong initiative in completing tasks and helping others.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Perform weekly eye wash station testing in building common areas; walk through buildings to assess for repairs and issues; add salt to RO systems; assist Building Managers with capital equipment disposition and paperwork.
Physical Demands:
Ability to walk and stand during work hours, and lifting up to 50 lbs on occasion.
