Department Overview:
The UW Space Science and Engineering Center is a multi-discipline research and development organization that focuses primarily on climate, weather, atmospheric, and space related research. Funding sources include NASA, NOAA, NSF, DOE, and private industry, with an aggregate annual budget of about $30 million. Our projects include observation, analysis and application of the data collected by our instruments in Antarctica, on satellites, aircrafts, ships and land based installations. This information is made available to the scientific community worldwide and helps to enhance our understanding of Earth and the solar system beyond.

Flexible scheduling between 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Average around 5-10 hours/week as needed.

Qualifications:
Must be a registered student for duration of employment. Interest in atmospheric science is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Basic office skills with knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat. WorkPress website development is a plus.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
This individual will provide assistance with clerical, meeting, and research projects related to the CIMSS office.
