Department Overview:

Our mission is to provide professional adventure programming for individuals, groups, and teams of people that allows each guest to walk away with a greater understanding of who they are as an individual and as a leader. We aim to provide recreation opportunities that are fun, safe, and affordable which will include kayaking, zip lining, paddle-boarding, trips, and youth camps. With 4 beautiful locations throughout Door County, we are able to meet our customers' desires with a wide range of adventures to choose from.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We're searching for outdoor professionals who have experience with kayak, high ropes, and zip line guiding and also love to have fun! No experience, no worries. We are willing to train the right candidate. Our season runs Memorial Day - Labor Day. If you have a passion for the outdoors and working with great people, Door County Adventure Center is for you!

Adventure Guides will lead three (3) kayak tours and two (2) zip line tours throughout beautiful Door County! Guides are responsible for guest safety, instruction, and fun! Send a resume and cover letter to adventures@teamleadership.com. (Paddling and zip lining experience preferred but no certifications necessary. Training/certification takes place on location in May 2025)

Qualifications:

We look for self-motivated individuals who share our love for outdoor education, recreation and fun! Preference is given to people who have these qualities in addition to having experience with adventure sports (kayaking/zip lining etc...), camping, teaching and/or facilitating groups. Must be CPR certified or obtain certification before start of employment. 

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time and lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
